“Accessibility Statement”
Targetorate is committed to making its website [https://targetorate.us/] as accessible as possible to persons with disabilities, including those with hearing, visual, cognitive and motor impairments. We have a website accessibility team that constantly works towards improving the accessibility of our website to ensure that all the users have equal access to the content provided on our website.
We ensure that our website achieves ‘Level AA’ certification from the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines define how to make Web content highly accessible to people with disabilities.
Besides our commitment to accessibility, we ensure that the website is compatible with:
- The recent versions of modern screen readers
- Speech recognition software
- Operating system screen magnifiers
- Operating system speech packages
We maintain international standards and endeavor to continuously improve the accessibility of our website for visitors with disabilities by:
- Providing features to adjust the font size
- Maintaining colour/contrast ratios for text
- Making available keyboard accessible navigation
- Providing transcripts for podcasts to help hearing impaired users and users using no speakers or headphones consume the content
Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0
The WCAG 2.0 outlines four main principles that define that websites should be:
- Perceivable – Information and user interface components must be presentable to users in ways they can perceive.
This means that users must be able to perceive the information being presented (it can’t be invisible to all of their senses) - Operable – User interface components and navigation must be operable.
This means that users must be able to operate the interface (the interface cannot require interaction that a user cannot perform) - Understandable – Information and the operation of user interface must be understandable.
This means that users must be able to understand the information as well as the operation of the user interface (the content or operation cannot be beyond their understanding) - Robust – Content must be robust enough that it can be interpreted reliably by a wide variety of user agents, including assistive technologies.
This means that users must be able to access the content as technologies advance (as technologies and user agents evolve, the content should remain accessible)
